Why do I need A valuation?

You need a valuation when there is a requirement for a formal, independent, assessment of a property's value.

1. Family Law: The Court may require a valuation where there is dispute between the parties.
2. Mortgage Valuations: Usually organised by the lending institution for finance approval and mortgage insurance if applicable.
3. Probate/Estate: To confirm the value of a property in the distribution of assets in a will.
4. Sales/Purchase: When a property is being sold or purchased by an institution such as a public company or superannuation fund where good governance requires some proof the transaction is being conducted at an appropriate value.
