Pre-Purchase Building Inspection Prices

Prices are estimates until our builder gets to the property.

Our standard prices are based on the number of Bedrooms Bathrooms Kitchens and other similar service rooms.

For example a 3 Bedroom House with a Kitchen and 2 Bathrooms will cost $450. If the same house also had a 1 bedroom granny flat with a kitchen and bathroom it would cost $570.

The table on the right will cover most standard domestic properties.

If you also require a Timber Pest Inspection Report, remember a 10% Discount Applies for 2 or More Reports on the same property where the account is paid within 14 days.

These prices are estimates.

Some Owners Corporations accumulate very large volumes of records or have special situations which make inspections of their records very time consuming.

We often know those buildings.

Standard prices include Strata Managers' Statutory Fees (normally $28.60), 10 pages photocopying and GST.
About 19 out of 20 reports are produced at the standard price. The 20th is often a lifesaver.



Survey Prices

These prices are a general guide only.

Access difficulties, cliffs, multiple buildings, bush, old government land information and other features may mean the procedure is more time consuming and price higher.

Remember you are paying for two people to be on site.

Valuation Report Prices

Valuations are charged on the basis of a minimum fee and then a percentage of the property's value.

The Office of State Revenue requires only a very basic report and those valuations are the cheapest.

The cost of other reports varies according to, for instance, whether the valuer is required to prepare a matter for Court.
