Just Terms Compensation Determinations |
An assessment of the compensation value to be awarded to a dispossessed property owner where government compulsorily acquires their land. |
| Mortgage Valuation | This is usually organised directly by the lending authority for finance approval and mortgage insurance may be required. |
| Stamp Duty Valuations | Used to satisfy the purposes of the Office of State Revenue on property transfer. |
| Supplementary Valuation | Conducted to update the general valuation data following sale of lots in new subdivisions and successful appeals against valuations. The data is supplied to local councils and the State Government on a monthly basis to ensure rating and assessment bases are current. |
| Tax Valuation | Used for the purposes of providing an independent valuation of the property market value of being considered for sale/purchase. |
